.bik/Bink Video? How do I work with it?

I'm at a loss of what to do with these. I'm working on a video for the two KotOR games. And while the first one has all its videos in nice MOVs for me, the second's FMVs are in .bik format. I have a player for them, but is there any easy way to get them into a format I can edit?

Also, I need to do some video capture in game, since some of the cutscenes I want to use aren't cinematics. Is there a particular program I can use to do this?
