What little I played of it at my friends house, I didn't think it was TOO bad... but it's dumb how it's only two players when it could so easily be a 4 player game and it's annoying trying to bribe women into being on your team... it's repitive too. But I like the girls so... meh...darkyre wrote:doa volleyball really sucks.....

You get new levels and new weapons that you don't have in X-Box. You can use that plasma cannon the Hunters use. It's easier to network play since you don't need to pay for the X-Box live service. It's more fun too since you don't share a screen with the other player. The computer version is preffered by my friends.

also, the computer version requires a choice piece of hardware, which many people do not have, the xbox comes fully equipped to run it perfectly. plus i prefer the xbox controller for halo, although most fps games i prefer the mouse and keyboard.

Lets put it this way, to get the equivilant graphical quality from the PC version that you get from the XBox, you'll need a direct x 9 video card like the 9600 pro or the 5600 ultra. 8 times the memory, and 3 times the CPU power.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

And no, I am not pulling random numbers out of a hat. I happen to have played both. and am basing this opinion on how the PC version played on my computer. (And I know the hardware of my PC inside and out.)
