Video Size

One of the things where i have problems with after my first videos is that my video size is to big.
My first video was 219 MB and was around the 3 min and 40 sec long.
now im working on my second amv.i did a test render.and the video is around the.
2 min and 24 sec long and the size is already 122mb.
im using sony vegas

Any tips to get the file size down ?
but keep the quality

Never use the built-in encoding tools for your editing software. They are junk.

You should render it as a lossless avi (lagarith or utvideo compression), and then encode it to mp4 using Zarx264gui or AMVSimple.

Also, be sure to use your frame rate as 23.976 unless there's a specific reason it's 29.97
