I just got back from having been in Canada and away from my computer since Sunday, which I forgot to warn people about here -- that's 100% my fault.

I would like to apologize sincerely for the lateness of the non-finalists playlist; those of you who have been following AnimeNEXT for a while know that this is a rare occurrence. I'd like to thank everyone again for all your patience with us this uniquely challenging year, as a recent family emergency's been affecting our staff and some of them won't be able to make it to the convention (I suppose I'm lucky that this is the first time that's happened in the 10 years I've been doing this).

EDIT: I should also add that the following playlist will be only around 2 hours, 15 minutes in length, not the entire 3 hour block that I originally reserved (I am reaching out to our scheduling/info folks to have this updated). So please keep that in mind if you're aiming to see certain videos and they're towards the end!

That's correct, the playlist is the same. So you can come back and see any vids you might have missed the first time. (And, since I got this question at the con today, the same is true of the contest screenings.)

Let me address this first: I've seen a report of a playback issue at this year's non-finalist screenings. We checked all the videos on the playback computer before the convention and noticed nothing unusual, and my staff who ran the screenings didn't report anything odd either; so, if you were at the non-finalist blocks and saw something amiss, please contact us directly at amv@animenext.org so we can take appropriate steps to correct it. This is the first time I've ever heard of such an issue with one of my screenings, and naturally I'd like it to be the last.
