That's a pretty cool vid and I like it myself, but honestly, voting it for best horror would be trolling, imho...Cenit wrote:

Great Video indeed, but doesn't quite fit into this category IMO.

Seriously one of the best horror videos I've ever seen. Perfect storytelling and great editing. The buildup made the incredible payoff at the end totally worth the wait. Actually succeeded in making me jump at least once.
My favourites in this category from last year. Must vote for them
Is it just a feeling or are there better videos for this category this year than last one?

King Beowulf versus Ingow awesomeness is what 'tis about.
Does that mean any of the other videos mentioned actually scare you?Ingow wrote:Even though I don't think that it's really horror (voting Macabre Serenade for this category would equal trolling btw, just so you know...) I still think that Beo's video wouldn't fit anywhere else any better. So yeah it would be ok to win horror, it's just not scary at all.

Re: Best Horror Video
hardly anything scares me anymore considering how much of a horror flick geek I've become but because of that and because I'm an enthusiastic Lovecraft reader I asure you that I can still tell when something at least tries to build up a good disturbing atmosphere that at least could be seen as scary. It's more of a scary atmosphere/mood thing than scary in the sense of actually making you afraid.Cast to Stone wrote:Does that mean any of the other videos mentioned actually scare you?
Having said that MY VIDEO TOTALLY MAKES PEOPLE AFRAID WHEN THEY WATCH IT AT MIDNIGHT THOUGH

Re: Best Horror Video
To me Horror is the "Weird" or "Unexplainable" not necesarily scary stuff, ghosts, vampires.. etc...
I'd go for this one. This amv isn't really scary at all but its just so weird and freaky.
But it probably won't win, it will be in same suite as D!gital me which clearly deserved last years horror award.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson
