  What if the past could become undone? In this video, set to "Ashes" by the British band Embrace, Light Yagami ponders and rewinds his life.
  
  I have always had the idea that I wanted Light to go back to his old self, before the Death Note, and atone for his actions. After all, I think that he is not inherently evil, it's just that the power of the Death Note got to his head.
  
  After much searching, I discovered this song by the British band Embrace. It fit the vision I had perfectly, and so this AMV was born. It is a story told in reverse; the main parts of the story that are in reverse are in color, and the parts that are told forward are in black & white. However, at the end, the forward and backward parts meet, and the ultimate conclusion of the story is reached.
