• Comments: Over the past few years, I have pretty much lost interest in anime. But a new show called Tokyo Crystal Mew has just revitalized my interest. Indeed, Tokyo Crystal Mew is one of the best new anime to come out in years. Like "voices of a distance star", the artwork and animation in this show is the product of one hardworking individual. Just by looking at it, one might think that they had 100 animators behind the scenes--the quality is JUST THAT GOOD. The storline and character developement also rivals that of the likes of Evangelion or Spirited Away. This is surely one of the classics which shall go down in history.
  
  So after being exposed to this show, it was only natural that I wanted to express my feelings for it though an anime music video. I seriously doubted my own ability to do this series justice though, so I decided to collaborate with Yoko and SSG. Together, we have really created something that is much more than the sum of its parts. Now, with a show like Tokyo Crystal Mew, over-editing could easily destroy the heart of what makes this show so special. So in order to preserve the unique feeling presented in the show, we made the decision that none of us would spend more than 30 minutes editing our section of the video. It was a hard decision to make, but I think the video turned out better because of it.
