My last video of the decade. I started watching Major earlier this year and it ended up becoming my favorite anime by the time I finished the 5th season.
The show starts with the main character as a 5 year old kid. As the series progresses he grows up and works toward his goal of becoming a major league baseball player. Along the way he meets new friends that stick with him the entire way. The series is more or less about following your dreams and never backing down. After watching the show, I definitely wanted to make a video and Van Halen's "Dreams" was the first to come to mind.
Because the scope of the show was so large, it was difficult to do everything I wanted with it. I left out a large amount of side characters and plot elements that make the show, and the main character, what it is. Because of that, I decided to focus on Goro's pitching the whole way through. The only major plot element I incorporated was Goro's father. His father dies earlier in the series and is a major contributor to Goro's goal of going to the major leagues.
The video didn't turn out exactly as I had hoped, mostly because I wanted to do so much more with the song, but I just couldn't. There's only so much you can do I guess. That said, I really do like the video and I'm content with how it came out. I'm not a spectacular editor but I hope someone enjoys it.
