• Comments: I was one of the competitors at the Iron Editor event at AWA 2011, and this was my video.
  The theme of the competition was supposed to be "open your mind". That's a pretty broad theme, and could be open to interpretation, so I just picked one of my favorite songs rather than trying hard to pick something that adhered to the theme.
  
  Although technically we can plan out most of our video ahead of time, I didn't really do much aside from watch the sources and think about what parts might work with the song. I did pre-plan one scene, which was the clip from Haibane Renmei. When I was watching through that source, I just saw absolutely nothing interesting. I probably spent a good hour or two just trying to find a clip from those episodes of Haibane Renmei that would work in this song.
  
  I also took a bit of inspiration (AKA blatantly stole) from Shin's "A prelude to dreams" video that I saw a couple hours before the contest. I had been wanting to use the footage from the Madoka Magika ending, but ya know, it had credits all over it. So I copied a little trick that he used in his video.
  
  Anyways, I ended up winning. Matt had a good video as well though, and I was actually thinking I might have lost since mine was a lot shorter and I didn't adhere to the theme as well. Afterwards, I had a ton of people come up to me asking what the song was, which was kinda awesome, because more people need to know about 2NE1 :)
