Of the 50 some-odd pieces of crap I made this year, this is without question or doubt one of my faves. It's just fun! I was going to put a mustache and monocle on her throughout the entire video, but I didn't have the time nor energy. It's just a simple, fun video.

Background on the song:
Paul the Octopus was an "animal oracle" used to predict the outcome of games during the 2010 world cup. He hatched in 2008 at the Sea Life Centre in Weymouth, England and was soon transported to a sister aquarium in Oberhausen, Germany, where he would live out his 2 and half year life span. Which is quite normal for his species. He was not abused in any way, don't worry. He actually attained quite the celebrity status and was offered opportunities to travel around the world (true story) which was refused fearing his safety. The predictions were performed by simply dropping into his tank 2 small boxes filled with treats, each box bearing the flag of the teams in an up coming football game. The meal that he picked was to be the victor in said game, and he had an amazing success rate of 11 out of 13 calls/meals.
None of this has any pertinence to the video. I just think it's cool.
