I was asked to do the intro again for 2014. The theme this year was "Pay to Play" which was something I thought could be fun.
My idea was to emulate a game menu to introduce the competitor and the rules. I went through several iterations before getting what I have now. I'm not 100% happy with it but the audience seemed to get into it. That's successful IMO.
The Secret Source was Dungeons & Dragons: The Animated Series. I had to do a bit of cleaning on it, thanks to Mirko.
