I had the idea for this AMV when the new Toehider album just came out and the song "Smash It Out" reminded me of an old Absolute Destiny FLCL AMV "Shameless Rock Video" with a similar sounding song. I knew it would be a perfect match.
After just deciding that I was going to Anime Boston this year, I needed something to enter in the AMV contest, and this one was perfect since the song is only two minutes long.
As quick and easy as this video was to make, it was fun to edit. Just a nice little mindless action video showing off the wonderful (and now high def) animation of FLCL. Hard to believe the anime is 15 years old now!
