• Comments: My first Iron Chef. As far as editing goes… The most fun I’ve had in a while.
  
  The Tourney kicked off on Friday night 8 pm [+1 GMT] The Combatants consisting of LCY84, JCD, Zest, Dark-Krystal, Kwaichang and myself.
  
  After the voting of the song took place [which was rather unanimous],
  The editing commenced. We had 36 hours to make the best of the Paul Oaklands – Ready Steady Go.
  
  I chose Scryed… Why? Simple, it has some of the best action scenes that I’ve seen in anime [and it’s pretty to boot]. Another thing going for it are the 2 main characters Kazuma and Ryuho They in my opinion have the one of the best rivalries going to date.
  
  So with those two things in mind I set out to create action vid which had elements of some sort of plot. Plot… well two rivals fighting, with flashbacks in between = plot… right? ok well maybe not, I had a weekend, so sue me.
  
  But if it’s action you are looking for, you’ve come to the right place.
  
  Technical Notes:
  
  As godix might say [bless his soul] the vid may look like a winamp plugin puked all over it. Don’t listen to him, it’s the cynicism speaking, or as he might say “ the realist” [pfft :P] but it is rather effectsy, didn’t go overkill on the shine like I did in NTB, but there’s enough to spice it up. Lots of Bar and rectangle effects [think NTB only not hexagons :P]
  
  As far as editing and style go – it’s pretty much the bastard son of Kenshin’s Technique Beat, Bebop Rush and Naruto’s Technique beat. I had to think fast so I mainly used the stuff I learned from making those. 30 % premiere 70% After Effects
  
  Hmmm, I’m forgetting stuff… well I’ve only slept like 5 or 6 hours the entire weekend so u’ll excuse me. I’ll update as it comes to mind.
  
  Lastly I want to say many thanks to LCY84 for inviting me to participate in the tourney, I had a blast, can’t wait for the next one. To the other guys alos participating, I had fun in #Iron-Chef [hope Zest’s PC is ok].
