I get this weird message pop up whenever I ask PSXMC to open and analyze the CD-ROM:

Problem ripping FF9 with PSXMC

I had this same problem when i first use PSXMC to rip the scenes off of FFIX.
I dont really remember since its already been like 4yrs since i ripped them but try changing the default dvd-drive to the one thats currently installed as it the program doesnt automatically select the default drive. You can do this by clicking the PSXMC option tab then somewhere there should be a tab called drive or something.
Like i said its been 4yrs since i resolved this error so..... this may or maynot be the solution.
but anyways I hope this helps.
