The huffy codec makes video clips alot larger than other codec since its an uncompressed format ^_^

Are you encoding a whole episode or just clips cut from it?

I recommend you Read ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides, since you seem to be relatively new to making AMVs. It's a big help. A bit long, but very useful.

find the scenes you want and use these keys to mark the beginning and the end of the clips you want to make...

also use Lagarith, it will make the video size smaller, AND remove sound by going to stream --> stream list ---> disable stream

I'm a Vegas user... 99.9% of the time Vegas will like Lagarith more than huffy anyways...

if none of this made sense read this

MS MPEG V2 (fddshow vershion) works good in editing programs. Its not lossless though but if set right can give good quality

Umm.....this is just as bad as editing with DivX/XviD files, if not worse. I do not suggest that format at all. I used MS MPEG V2 in my early days of AMVing and the quality it gives is absolutely horrible.
