help with vegas 6

as an observation, i've been seeing moonie giving some really bad advice reguarding codec. including ecouraging divx submissions for MEPs :/

I haven't been ecouraging people to use divx for mep videos. Thats what alot of meps have been doing for quite awhile. The people know its not lossless but they prefer that format for submissions because the files arent that big.
As for MPEG V2 there are 3 differen't versions. The only one i konw to work are the versions in fddshow the other ones like MC-MPEG V1-V3 can mess up videos realy bad. I learned that the hard way >_<
I've been using the fddshow versions in most of my latest amvs and haven't had any problems with it.
The only reason i sugested that is because NarutoxFlame was asking if there was another compression codec that works in vegas. The fddshow version is nothing like divx/xvid and doesn't crash in editing programs.
Well not on my computer anyway.
