Don't misreading me, it would be the same thing in France and I think it's just "normal" people vote their friends.

Well, in any case, my op about best short didn't change (and thx god, Otohiko agreed with me on irc) and also, PLEASE, next year, never use only thematic names for categories... Or I'll kill u G_Q XD

And the second thing is that I'm shocked to see that Versus didn't win the MEP category. Man, I lost a bet

Honestly, I'm friends with several of the editors in AMV Hell 5, and I would not have voted for that thing for all the pizza in the world.
Verus was by far the best MEP in the group. This is one of those "image is everything" kind of situations. AMV Hell 3 still has a lasting effect on this community and all of youtube. I think people still associate AMV Hell 3 as some piece of AMV history, and anything similar to it will get a lot of praise, regardless of how good/bad it actually was.
